Hiperdist expands distribution partnership with Asus
Hiperdist, the region’s fastest-growing value-added distributor, today announced that it has expanded its distribution agreement with global brand Asus.
The Dubai-headquartered VAD, who is currently an Asus partner for West & East Africa, will now also deliver the vendor’s consumer portfolio of products to its channel in the UAE. This selection ranges from entry-level notebooks such as VivoBook to high-end offerings like ROG Gaming Notebooks.
Speaking about the partnership, Adil Ali, Category Head, Hiperdist, said, “We are delighted to extend our distribution to the UAE in addition to the WECA region. We have been working with Asus in Africa for 5 years now and have successfully helped the vendor develop its consumer notebook business to double-digit market share in East Africa. We believe that this collaboration is a win-win situation for both companies.”
Jeff Lo, Director, Asus Middle East and Africa, said, “Our relationship with Hiperdist goes back many years ago when the company was onboarded for West and East Africa. We have seen good results of our relationship,” he said.
“Appointing Hiperdist to reach out to the UAE channel is a natural progression for us as the partnership also sees the company strengthen the Asus Consumer range in the market. Although it’s early days, we are happy with the success and the different market segmentation that Hiperdist has opened for the Asus range and we continue working together to further develop this market.”
Hiperdist is a leading value-added distributor, spanning multiple markets and application segments. It is now positioning strongly in the Middle East, especially the UAE market, in addition to expanding further in Africa, collaborating with global vendors in the market.
